What brands does BWTS have in its portfolio?
As we are a manufacturer-independent service provider, we carry out maintenance and troubleshooting for most common wind turbines across different brands, such as GE, Vestas, Enercon, Nordex, SiemensGamesa.
Does BWTS also operate internationally?
Yes, BWTS also operates abroad, e.g. in Norway, France, Australia and Argentina.
Does BWTS offer offshore service?
Yes, BWTS service technicians are trained in both onshore and offshore (in accordance with GWO (Global Wind Organisation) and DGUV (German Statutory Accident Insurance)) and can be flexibly assigned!
Can BWTS procure spare parts?
As an independent cross-brand service provider, we are able to source spare parts for most models of wind turbine.
How often do wind turbines need expert inspection?
Wind turbines need to be inspected once a year in accordance with the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV).
How often do the hoist and fall arrester of a mobile platform need general overhaul?
This varies depending on the manufacturer (e.g. every 2, 5 or 10 years, or after set number of operating hours)
Does BWTS inspect protection devices?
The inspection of protective devices may only be carried out by an authorised specialist company. We will be happy to provide you with a quote together with our collaboration partner.
