With us, regular inspections such as DGUV Regulation 3 and all servicing intervals prescribed by the manufacturer are in good hands. Our technicians are well-versed in the legal standards and carry out all the required servicing work for frequency converters, control devices or transformers, from the visual inspection to assessment of the entire system. Private operators are also recommended to observe compliance with the standards, in order to ensure that their plants remain safe and that they can make valid insurance claims in the event of damage; failing to keep up with maintenance may void insurance cover. We have an eye for many things that are commonly neglected: cleaning work that becomes necessary in the course of the plant’s service life as the result of environmental influences and inspection of the attachment points, ladders, steps and step irons for roofing systems.

What is a drone-based thermographic inspection?

In a thermographic inspection, we observe the temperature distribution of your solar panels from the air – using a high-resolution thermal imaging camera mounted to a professional drone. As flying over the plants makes everything easy to access, even hard-to-reach areas can be inspected fully and efficiently. Unusual temperature differences – referred to as ‘hotspots’ – are often a sign of defective cells, faulty cabling or installation defects. This visual analysis from a bird’s-eye view enables especially rapid, comprehensive and precise location of vulnerabilities.
